Panel 1: In
the Davies quadrangle, a number of Junior Fellows--including Frankie,
Jackie, Marie, and Felicia (whom I don't think I've named yet in the
comic, but she's the young white woman with long dark-brown hair and
glasses)--have pulled a bunch of benches together and are sitting on
them, drinking beer. Casey comes up behind Felicia. Casey: What's with the party. Felicia: It's impromptu. Beer? Panel 2: Casey sits down. Casey: No, thanks. I don't drink. Felicia: ...Oh. Panel 3: Casey immediately adopts a jaded look. Casey: And no, it's not because I have a moral objection to alcohol, and no, I am not sitting here judging you all. I just don't drink. Panel 4: Felicia [guiltily]: You've had this conversation before. Casey: I've heard that tone before... Alt-Text: I drew this strip before George started his beer-in-the-quad sessions this summer...but the coincidence is quite excellent, I should say. Go to commentary |
