This comic ran on one of the hottest days of summer thus far (high of 35C). I had thought the "38C" thing would be a huge exaggeration...

Wednesday, August 1, 2007
Panel 1: Rahim and Casey walk through the Davies halls together. Rahim is wearing his "We make it creepy" shirt.

Rahim: Is this going to happen again, Casey?

Casey: I don't think so. Not this year.

Panel 2:

Rahim:
If she needs help, we should get it for her now.

Casey: She wouldn't thank us.

Panel 3:

Rahim: Do you really think that matters if we--

Casey: Yes, I do. If we stab her in the back, who will she have to trust?

Panel 4: Rahim and Casey are now in the common room, near the coffee cart.

Rahim: This is far too heavy for 38C plus humidity.

Casey: I'll take your word for it. Coffee?

Alt-Text: It's actually only supposed to be about 33C today, and on July 19 (when this comic is set), it was, I think, quite a bit cooler. Nonetheless, as I find it hard to have heavy conversations when the temperature has exceeded 20C, I think Rahim's comment is more or less fair.
