Panel 1: Marie and Casey are sitting at a small table in a corner of Tim Hortons, a Canadian coffee-and-doughnuts chain. They both have coffee. Casey is holding a doughnut.

Marie: Are you meeting someone?

Casey: These maple doughnuts are a truly good idea.

Panel 2:

Marie:
Does this have anything at all to do with me, or am I just along for the ride?

Casey: I like Boston cream, but the maple icing really adds something.

Panel 3:

Marie: Isn't this all too mysterious for Tim Hortons?

Casey: I'd like to try a maple chocolate doughnut someday. I hope Timmy's thinks of that one.

Panel 4:

Marie:
Why am I pretending you're planning on answering these questions?

Casey: Maple sugar: food of the gods!

Alt-Text: In order to observe the background for this comic, I had to go to Tim Hortons and order a chicken salad sandwich, a Coke, and a honey cruller. Take heed of my terrible, terrible sacrifice.
