West of Bathurst 273

I have recently been informed that the Massey Murder Game, which usually takes place in late January or early February, has, for eminently mysterious reasons, been postponed until the end of February. My psychic powers must be on the fritz at the moment...or maybe not, since the current WoB plotline, which happens over the course of two days, is not going to be resolved until pretty darned near the end of February. Perhaps everything has worked out for the best in the end. (However, the Davies MG is not taking place in late February. I'm seeing the two days in question as February 3 and 4. This information is completely useless to you, but I still thought you might like to know.)

Panel 1: In the first panel of this Sunday-style colour comic, Frankie, Rahim, and Barbara sit in a row in a hospital waiting room. Frankie glances aside as a voice says via an intercom, "Paging West of Bathurst (by Kari Maaren)..." Rahim is glaring straight ahead. Barbara is just sitting there.

Panel 2: Frankie, Rahim, and Barbara are still sitting in a row, as in the first panel.

Frankie: Man. I hate hospitals.

Panel 3: Rahim turns his patented look of death on Frankie.

Frankie: There are sick people everywhere. I mean, yes, that makes sense, but it still creeps me out.

Panel 4: Rahim's glare intensifies.

Frankie:
And those announcements. Code blue...code red...it's all so clinical. And the visitors look all worried...and...the...is there a problem?

Panel 5:

Rahim: If Marie ends up with permanent brain damage because you took a stupid game too seriously and hit her with a door, I shall eat your head.

Panel 6: They all sit there, staring straight ahead.

Panel 7:

Frankie: And the flowers. Honestly, I think I'm allergic.

Rahim appears to be about to strangle someone. I can't imagine whom. Barbara lays a hand on his shoulder.

Barbara: Just breathe.

Alt-Text: Breathe FIRE INTO HER FACE! Oh, wait...you're not Casey.
