Panel 1: Casey
has just walked up the stairs that lead to his third-floor residence
room (next door to Marie's). He glances towards something on the floor.
Panel 2: We
see that Marie, dressed in shorts and a T-shirt, is sitting on the
floor, a book open and face down beside her. Casey hurries towards her.
Casey: Marie?
Panel 3: Casey crouches and waves a hand in front of Marie's face. She doesn't respond.
Casey: Oh, hell.
Panel 4: Casey picks Marie up. Barbara pops up out of nowhere, as is her wont.
Barbara: She always looks so sweet when she's overcome by despair.
Casey: Didn't you move out?
Alt-Text: There is, of course, a difference between "moving out" and "moving on"...
