Panel 1: Rahim
is standing in what looks like some kind of reception. He's wearing a
nametag and (very atypically) a tie. The other people in the room are
wearing nametags too.
Rahim: July eighteenth.
Panel 2: Rahim is talking on his cell phone.
Rahim:
Casey? It's Rahim. When you get this message, could you check on Marie?
I just remembered it was the anniversary of her freak out.
Panel 3:
Rahim:
I'm stuck at a conference until late, but call me when you've found
her. Don't worry, though; I'm sure you'll be able to handle the
situation.
Panel 4: In
Casey's room, Marie is still sitting on the bed, staring at nothing.
Barbara is beside her. Casey stands nearby, staring down at his cell
phone.
Casey: Or, you know, not.
Barbara: Eh...I find that paralysed indecision is actually usually the way to go.
Alt-Text:
Huge conferences that insist on their participants wearing name-tags
are infuriating. It's like..."Here: identify yourself so we'll all know
whom we're ignoring."
