Panel 1: In the Davies College foyer, Marie is holding a clipboard while talking to Stella. Rahim, still on crutches, approaches.
Marie: Okay, we're almost done setting up. Let's get Tom to light the barbecue.
Panel 2: Stella leaves.
Rahim: Your first DEF event is going smoothly, then?
Marie: So far...except I think it's going to rain.
Panel 3:
Rahim: Of course. It's the end-of-year barbecue. There's always--
Marie [with a jaded look]: --no ketchup by seven, rain at nine, Master loses his bow tie, someone falls in pond, scandal happens.
Panel 4:
Rahim: You memorised the litany of traditional disasters?
Marie: My life is a litany of traditional disasters. It seemed wise.
