| Panel 1: In the Davies College basement nook, Marie sits on the couch and talks to Baldwin, who is on the floor. Marie: You were in a bad position. I think any decision you made would have got someone mad at you. Panel 2: Marie [angrily]: Sometimes, there's no way out. Sometimes, people back you into corners and then blame you when you try to escape. Panel 3: Marie: Sometimes, someone you thought was your friend will play mind games with you until the very sight of him will make you want to projectile-vomit in his smug face. Panel 4: Casey is standing behind Marie, a fact of which she is very aware. She turns to glare at him. Casey: She's not talking about you any more. Baldwin: Yeah, I gathered that.
