This comic is dedicated to my friend Angela, with whom I have been engaging in a "Die Hard is/isn't a Christmas movie" debate for nearly two weeks now.

I would also like to note that I drew this strip and the one preceding it before the Nostalgia Critic declared Die Hard the "number one Christmas special (that didn't make it onto the top-twelve list he made last year)," but after Masseyites decided to watch the film at a movie night. Lately, for some reason, everything seems to be coming up Die Hard.

Panel 1: Marie and Rahim are in the Puffy Couch Room, or PCR, in the basement of Davies College, watching Die Hard on Christmas Eve.

Rahim: Why is Die Hard on on Christmas Eve, anyway?

Marie: It's a Christmas movie.

Panel 2:

Rahim: It isn't.

Marie: It's set on Christmas Eve, at a Christmas party, and half the jokes are Christmas jokes, and Christmas music plays on the soundtrack.

Panel 3:

Rahim:
It's also a hostage flick in which several people die horribly and terrorists blow up a building.

Panel 4:

Marie
[cynically]: And that, my friend, is the true meaning of Christmas.

Rahim: You really don't like this holiday, do you?

Alt-Text: Trust me...nothing gives you that Christmassy feeling like watching Bruce Willis pulling broken glass out of his bare feet.
