Today's comic is dedicated to Mary Kate Arnold, who knows perfectly well why.

As the Massey Murder Game winds down, I would like to congratulate all first-time Murder Game participants who have managed to stay sane throughout. I suspect the list of these people is relatively short.

In other news, those who have not yet checked out Piled Higher and Deeper's excellent Cecilia in Thesisland series should do so. It starts here and so far consists of ten comics (with a short interlude for Valentine's Day); there is probably at least one more to come. Mr. Cham's depiction of grad school as an insane otherworldly space in which nothing makes sense is apt, to say the least.

Panel 1: Marie and Sara are sitting on a couch.

Marie: You don't have to take the Murder Game seriously, you know. It's all in fun.

Panel 2: Sara takes out her phone and enters a number.

Marie: You can play for a day, then give up. Don't let it affect your life.

Panel 3:

Sara
[into the phone]: Hello. You are going to die today. Goodbye.

Panel 4:

Marie: Or you can do that.

Sara [leaves]: Excuse me...I need to stalk my prey.

Alt-Text: The Massey Junior Fellow who actually successfully implemented this approach is now a legend among Murder Game participants.
