Special Header for Comic #666: It
looks just like the usual header, with Rahim, Barbara, Marie, and Casey
superimposed upon a street sign reading, "West of Bathurst / by Kari
Maaren." However, every three seconds, everything is semi-obscured by a
wall of flame, and Casey's eyes go red. Panel 1: Marie is lying facedown on her bed, refusing to talk to Evil Marie. Marie: I really don't feel like talking to imaginary people, so please go away. Someone knocks on the door. Evil Marie: I'll get it. Marie: Whatever. Panel 2: Marie listens to voices from the next room. Visitor: Hi...is Marie in? Evil Marie: Yeah, but she's sulking. Panel 3: Marie sits up and continues to listen incredulously. Visitor: Could you get her? Evil Marie: Theoretically. Visitor: I see you're in one of those moods. Evil Marie: I'm always in one of those moods. Panel 4: Marie enters the room and finds Casey standing at the open door, facing Evil Marie. Marie [very, very loudly]: What the BLEEDING HELL? Evil Marie [gestures to Marie]: She's in one of those moods too. Alt-Text: And it's not even April Fool's Day. Go to commentary |
