Panel 1: In the Davies College foyer, Alix is looking at the bulletin board. Two Junior Fellows walk past her.
Woman: I've lost my mind. It's gone! The start of term has killed it!
Panel 2: Two more Junior Fellows pass Alix.
Man: So then he tells me I have to T.A. a course on sci-fi film. I'm a medievalist! A medievalist! There's going to be crying soon, and possibly blood.
Panel 3: Marie and Rahim pass Alix as Sara approaches her.
Rahim: All I'm saying is that you were talking to an invisible person.
Marie: I can't discuss this now; I need to read six hundred pages in two hours.
Panel 4: Alix and Sara are alone beside the bulletin board.
Alix: I'm just standing here, letting the panic and insanity pass me by.
Sara: It's actually kind of peaceful.
Alt-Text:
The necessity of reading six hundred pages in two hours is the logical
result of the ability to tell oneself, "Oh, I have plenty of time,"
over and over and over.
