Well, I really did want to get this up last night, but at least it
has appeared before the North American airing of the episode.
That counts for something, right?......right? Since Doctor Who seems to be becoming a bit of a theme in the comic, especially when Weird Beard is around, I've made a little Doctor Who collection. It will remain available via the Miscellaneous page. |

Panel 1: In the title panel of this Sunday-style colour comic, author Neil Gaiman and the Eleventh Doctor from Doctor Who, as played by Matt Smith, stare at each other across the words "West of Bathurst (by Kari Maaren)." Panel 2: In the Davies College basement, Rahim watches as Weird Beard, who is holding a book, walks up to Marie. Weird Beard: Ready? Marie: I'm not sure it's possible to be ready. Panel 3: Rahim: This is going to be about Doctor Who again, isn't it? Rahim: You don't understand. Panel 4: Weird Beard: Tonight's episode was written by Neil Gaiman. There is no one as awesome as Neil Gaiman. Marie: And there's nothing as awesome as Doctor Who. Panel 5: Marie: The resulting level of awesome is likely to be so overpowering that the space-time continuum will fracture, spilling the whole of reality into the howling abyss. Panel 6: Weird Beard holds the book up to his face. Weird Beard: I plan to spend the duration of the episode hiding behind my copy of American Gods. Marie: That is itself awesome, though I'm not entirely sure why. Panel 7: Weird Beard: Though maybe I should use Neverwhere instead. Marie: Tough call. Tough call. Rahim [walks away while pointing down the corridor]: If you'll excuse me, I see sanity beckoning from way the hell over there. Alt-Text: And now it's screaming and running away BECAUSE OF ALL THE AWESOME. Go to commentary |
