Panel 1: In
the title panel of this Sunday-style colour comic, it is clearly
summer, with a butterfly flitting around some bushes, Marie and Barbara
in short sleeves, and Barbara sipping a cold drink. However, Marie is
also staring at the words "WEST OF BATHURST BY KARI MAAREN," which have
little icicles growing on them.
Panel 2: Barbara is sitting in the Davies College common room, reading a newspaper. Marie approaches with a backpack on her back.
Panel 3: Marie removes a winter coat from the backpack.
Panel 4: She puts it on.
Panel 5: She adds a toque and mittens.
Panel 6: She crosses her arms and glares.
Panel 7:
Barbara: I take it you're not appreciating the AC.
Marie: "Oh, look, it's 35 degrees C outside! Let's ensure that people in the common room die of hypothermia!"
Alt-Text:
The Massey AC has two settings: Off and Arctic Blast. On very hot days,
Arctic Blast is quite nice for the first ten seconds or so.
