| Panel 1: Marie and Evil Marie are in a forest that is clearly inside Marie's head. Marie: Where am I? Evil Marie: Doubtless huddled in your bed, zoned out and being pathetic. Panel 2: Marie: Okay, where do I seem to be? Evil Marie: You've been taking refuge in kids' lit a lot lately, so I'm guessing some sort of magical world. Panel 3: A monster with very big teeth comes up behind Evil Marie. Marie's eyes pop. Evil Marie: You know...the kind where the protagonists go to learn stuff about themselves and simulate the onset of maturity by running away from various unreasonably scary monsters. Panel 4: The monster begins to open its mouth. Evil Marie: ......There's one behind me right now, isn't there?
