West of Bathurst Harry Potter panel

I can't put the Harry Potter premiere in the strip proper because in the world of the comic, it's already next Monday, and Marie is in no condition to spaz out over movie openings. However, it is necessary that I make a Potter joke, and I have thus provided this small panel, which contains not one--not two--but three references to online HP fan works (admittedly, two of those works are closely related). If you're unfamiliar with A Very Potter Musical, A Very Potter Sequel, and Potter Puppet Pals, I would suggest that you become acquainted with them all very soon.

Panel 1: Marie and Evil Marie are running frantically through a forest that clearly doesn't exist. They are being pursued by a monster.

Evil Marie: Where are we going? Where are we going?

Person Behind Tree [waves]: Here!

Panel 2: The person behind the tree appears to be Casey.

Marie: C-casey?

Casey: Sort of. Perhaps. I may as well be Casey for now.

Panel 3:

Evil Marie: Or are you Caid?

Casey: No, he's an entirely separate figment. Shut up, will you? That thing does have ears.

Panel 4:

Evil Marie: And claws, and teeth, and a really big stomach.

Marie: Usually, my hallucinations just involve angst and a lot of crying.

Alt-Text: It's always nice to mix one's hallucinations up a bit.

Special Harry Potter Panel: Baldwin and Steve have dressed up in full-on Harry Potter cosplay. Frankie glares at them. (There are, besides the usual Harry Potter accoutrements such as wands and an owl, a visual reference to the Harry Potter musical fan work A Very Potter Sequel: Steve is holding a package of Red Vines, like the musical version of Ron. The dialogue also references the musical, as well as Potter Puppet Pals.)

Frankie: Ready for the movie, I see.

Baldwin: It's gonna be totally awesome!

Steve: Anyone else hear that mysterious ticking noise?

Alt-Text: RUMBLEROOOOOOOOOARRRRR! (Don't ask.)
