Re. the write-a-thon: I'll write something at some point. Right now, it's too bloody hot.

Friday, July 22, 2011
Panel 1: In an imaginary enchanted forest, Marie, Evil Marie, and a reasonable approximation of Casey are watching a younger Marie crying on a rock.

Marie: What the hell am I supposed to do with this?

Panel 2:

Marie: I get it, okay? That was a terrible day, and it did things to my head. But I'm not that girl any more. I've moved on.

Evil Marie: *Pfft*

Panel 3:

Evil Marie:
Look, no offence, dominant personality, but we're trapped in a fairy-tale forest with a scary monster and a damsel in distress. I mean, even I can see the metaphor here.

Panel 4:

Evil Marie: Now into the woods!

Marie: I don't have to sing, do I?

Casey: Maybe just a little.

Alt-Text: I sort of hate to ask it, but do you have a basket?
