Panel 1: In
the title panel of this Sunday-style colour comic, Marie, in a
nightgown, narrows her eyes at Casey and says, "West of Bathurst?"
Casey is all beat up and dressed in rags. He replies, "(By Kari
Maaren...)"
Panel 2: Marie helps Casey back into her apartment.
Marie: So what happened to you this time?
Casey: Rounds.
Panel 3: Casey is on Marie's futon, under the covers. Marie sits beside him.
Marie: Rounds.
Casey: I always get kind of beat up on rounds. It's not a big deal.
Panel 4:
Marie: And the handcuffs?
Casey: What handcuffs?
Panel 5:
Marie: So we're playing this game again, are we?
Casey: Game? Is there a game somewhere? Why?
Panel 6: Marie leans in close and points at his face.
Marie: Do you know how many times a saner person would have kicked you out by now?
Panel 7:
Casey: Five. No, six. Are there doughnuts?
Marie [walks away]: Have a good sleep, Mulligan.
Alt-Text:
Yes, everyone, I realise that Casey is being REALLY, REALLY, REALLY
ANNOYING. It is difficult to stop him. Do you think he answers MY
questions, let alone Marie's? No, he does not. I begin to fear that if
we are to get any answers, they are going to have to come from a source
other than Casey himself. Hang tight, everyone. Marie is ON THE HUNT.
