Okay...maybe three people clicked on
the links in my HUGELY LONG blurb on Monday. I shall
therefore simplify: TheClarion Write-a-Thon is starting soon, and I shall be participating. Please take a look at myprofile page on the Clarion site, and consider sponsoring me. For every $200 raised, you guys will get seven extra comics. $1,000 will get you a comic-book-style story about Marie's past. Beating last year's total of $1,212.66 will get you a comic-book-style story about Casey. Perhaps I'll even print hard copies of these stories and send them to donors. There will also be some sort of extra if we hit $666.66 again. There...that's much less to read. |

Panel 1: Marie
is lying on her stomach on the grass, reading some pieces of paper.
Casey sits beside her with a book. Casey's phone rings. Marie: Your magic cellphone is ringing. Casey: My...? Panel 2: Casey pulls the phone out of his pocket. Casey: Don't be silly; it's not magic. Panel 3: He speaks on the phone. Casey: Hello? Uh-huh. Uh-huh. No, it's all right. Standard seven-year contract. The invisibility clause is an optional extra. Panel 4: Marie: What about the people you talk to on it? Casey [into the phone]: Wings? I think we can manage that. Alt-Text: He really does enjoy this sort of thing far too much. Go to commentary |
