therefore simplify:

Write-a-Thon is starting soon, and I shall be participating.
Please take a look at my

page on the Clarion site, and consider sponsoring me. For
every $200 raised, you guys will get seven extra comics.
$1,000 will get you a comic-book-style story about Marie's
past. Beating last year's total of $1,212.66 will get you a
comic-book-style story about Casey. Perhaps I'll even print
hard copies of these stories and send them to donors. There
will also be some sort of extra if we hit $666.66 again.
