I've done a "Dana Kavalis" page to collect
all the comics related to Donna Vakalis's Great Olympics Adventure
(plus there are some links on the page as well). If you want
to know her Olympics schedule, it's...well...in today's comic.
***There were no non-anonymous donors this week, so the coaster goes to our pledgers, Elisa and Athar, who have now won twice. Congratulations, guys! Update: Oopsy. I forgot there was another pledger in the draw. I did the draw properly, and lo and behold: I drew the second pledger's name. However, I don't want to go back on my word, so this week, both Elisa and Athar and Liz Argall will receive coasters. Congratulations again! I'm up to46,399
words written for the Write-a-Thon, meaning that I've exceeded
my goal (30,000). If you click on my word count, it will take
you to a page that will ask you for money. It will also tell you my
word count again. Yes, I am continuing to write (why
not?). |

Panel 1: Rahim and Marie are sitting on Marie's futon. Rahim has Marie's laptop on his lap. Rahim: The modtern pentathlon women's event won't be happening until August twelfth. Marie: I think that's the last day. Panel 2: Rahim: Yep. It looks as if fencing's at 8:00, swimming at 12:35, riding at 14:35, and running and shooting at 18:00. Marie: We'll have to watch. Panel 3: Rahim: 8:00 British time is three in the morning here. Panel 4: Marie: You know, I've never been that interested in fencing. Rahim: Imagine that. Alt-Text: England is a few too many hours ahead for this whole Olympics thing to be anything other than awkward when one really wants to watch a morning event. Go to commentary |
