Sorry for the tardiness; the colour comics really do take an
inordinate amount of time to complete. This comic ends the
Fourth Great WoB
Extravaganza; as of Monday, we'll be returning to our regular
schedule (MWF and every second S). I've uploaded two more videos, so check them out here. As well, I had a charming Twitter conversation with Toronto Batman after I posted the link to the song about him. Check it out. |

Panel 1: In the title panel of this Sunday-style colour comic, Marie,
Evil Marie, and Casey are in a park. Casey has been beat up. Marie
helps him rise. They are standing beside a sign bearing the name of the
park, though it is obscured by a poster reading "West of Bathurst." A
much smaller poster on the sign reads "by Kari Maaren." Marie: About two blocks from here, we can take a bus that'll take us downtown. Casey: I...have tokens somewhere. Panel 2: They are walking through the park. Marie: You need to go to the hospital. Casey: No. Panel 3: Marie: Casey-- Casey: Just forget it. How'd you find me, anyway? Panel 4: Marie: There were some women on a bus. And hair. And-- Casey: Three women? Panel 5: Marie: Yes. Casey: Oh, fun. As if there weren't enough clashing motifs already. Panel 6: Marie: What are you talking about? Casey: I'm stuck at the centre of a chaotic swirl of stories. They're all connected, except when they're not. You keep mucking them up. Panel 7: Evil Marie: You still realise he can see me, right? Casey and Marie [angrily]: Not now, Evil Marie! Alt-Text: Come on, guys; all she wants is for you to discuss her non-existence. Is that too much to ask? Go to commentary |
