Comment

Some recent comments from people unable to tell my beardy characters apart--which is understandable, since they tend to look similar in black and white--has led me to create a comic featuring all three.  That's Steve on the left, Weird Beard in the middle, and Basil on the right.  They do look rather different in colour, but that's cheating.

Despite the fact that there is something wrong with my pen tablet, which seems to be on its last legs, I managed to finish and post the comic before I went to bed.  Therefore, the 5s are out of the contest.  Sorry, Lore Hera and Rebecca.  It's down to our 6, Lumair, and our 7, Tuxgeo  It will be intriguing to see what happens tomorrow.

Panel 1: In the title panel of this Sunday-style colour comic, Steve stands on one side of the panel, smirking. His hair is in a braid, which is ridiculously long and spells out the words "West of Bathurst by Kari Maaren." Barbara holds the far end of the braid and ponders.

Panel 2: Steve is watching TV in the Davies College Puffy Couch Room.

Panel 3: Weird Beard sits down next to him.

Panel 4: Basil joins them.

Panel 5: The three men, all with magnificent beards, look at each other.

Panel 6: They all smile.

Panel 7: Barbara and Rahim are standing in the Davies College basement corridor.

Steve, Weird Beard, and Basil [off panel, singing]: Three beardy men be weeee!

Rahim: It probably isn't even worth asking.

Alt-Text: I have the strangest feeling that the guys are singing in perfect three-part harmony.
