*Sigh*...Tuesday on Friday.  WHY IS THE TIME ALWAYS GONE?

Tuesday, December 31, 2013
Panel 1: Evil Marie is standing outside Marie's closed bedroom door.

Evil Marie: All right, fine: I'll pretend to respect your personal space and stay out here.

Panel 2:

Evil Marie:
So I'd done two impossible things that night: starting the fire and getting you out of the house. I figured...why not go for one more?

Panel 3:

Evil Marie: I guess I was trying to make up for what I'd done. I guess forgetting who I was and becoming a piece of you was a sort of penance. It gave me a chance to...guard you.

Panel 4:

Marie [through the door]: That would be very touching if you hadn't just confessed to murder.

Evil Marie: Accidental murder!

Alt-Text: ...which makes it all better, of course.
