Panel 1: In
the title panel of this Sunday-style colour comic, Casey is erasing the
words "West of Bathurst by Kari Maaren" from a blackboard as Evil Marie
watches. Panel 2: Casey is sitting at a table in Tim Hortons. He looks up as Evil Marie approaches. Panel 3: Evil Marie sits down. Casey smiles at her. Casey: I know you, don't I? You don't usually look like that. Evil Marie: I have lately. Panel 4: Casey: Sorry. I always get stuff wrong at this point. Evil Marie: You do tend to have it the toughest of all of us. Panel 5: Casey: Do I? Evil Marie: I guess in a way you have to be more involved. They expect it of you, even when they don't know who you are. It makes you more like them. Panel 6: Casey: Huh. Panel 7: Casey: Who am I again? Evil Marie: Let's take this from the beginning... Alt-Text: I wonder if he remembers the shiny objects. Go to commentary |
