|Panel 1: In
this Sunday-style colour comic, which is just one enormous panel, we
see the Davies College basement kitchen. A banner reading "West of
Bathurst by Kari Maaren" in spooky Hallowe'en lettering is draped
across it. Several costumed and uncostumed students are in the kitchen.
We have: Pippi Longstocking, who is filming everything with a laughably
old-fashioned digital camera; the devil, dressed in a suit, with horns
and a tail; Harry Potter; Barbara (as herself); and Marie (holding a
carrot). Rahim, uncostumed, is washing out the eyes of a young man
dressed up as Edward from Twilight as a young woman dressed as Bella pats him on the back.|
Barbara: If you ever dress up as a sparkly vampire, don't let the glitter get in your eyes.
Marie: If I ever dress up as a sparkly vampire, kill me.
Alt-Text: The way I feel about sparkly vampires is somewhat akin to the way I feel about root canals.
