I've done a "Dana Kavalis" page to collect all the comics related to Donna Vakalis's Great Olympics Adventure (plus there are some links on the page as well).

We've stalled a bit on the whole Clarion thing. This is the last week; please do consider contributing. Clarion isn't quite on route to achieve its goal of $18,000 raised. It looks as if it might be if you factor in the pledges, but the thing about the pledges is that they don't count for those who don't do as much writing as they thought they would, and a lot of participants have come nowhere near their projections. I achieved my goal a while ago and have written extra, but the extra isn't really helping anyone but, well, me. If you can afford to do so, stick a few bucks in the pot, and let's aim for $800 and seven more comics. It's also worth noting that if you contribute now, you'll have a pretty good chance of winning the framed print. There are, thus far, only eighteen tickets in the hat.

I'm up to49,064 words written for the Write-a-Thon, meaning that I've exceeded my goal (30,000). If you click on my word count, it will take you to a page that will ask you for money. It will also tell you my word count again. Yes, I am continuing to write (why not?).

(This is the second $666.66 donationmeter, here preserved in eternal glory. Or something.)

Panel 1: Marie and Casey are in Marie's kitchen. Marie holds a cup of coffee, and Casey seems to be putting away a plate.

Marie: I've never known someone in the Olympics before.

Casey: I have.

Panel 2:

Marie:
What? When?

Casey: Oh, a while ago.

Marie: How long is "a while"?

Casey: You know...just a while.

Panel 3: She fixes him with a hard stare as he smiles brightly.

Panel 4:

Marie: "Four years ago" a while, or "Ancient Greece" a while?

Casey: I think we should make pancakes today.

Alt-Text: "Four years ago" pancakes, or "Ancient Greece" pancakes?
